CHAMPAGNE POWDER CAPITAL

Location
Our lodge is a 3.5-hour drive or 25-minute heli flight from Kelowna, BC. We are adjacent to the Granby Provincial Park in the Monashee Mountain range, in the champagne powder capital of BC. Our lodge is at 1800m (6000’) elevation.
The tenured area is over 15,000 acres, encompassing 9 peaks of beautiful sub-alpine and treeline skiing. Our mountain topography allows for some of the best fall line skiing in the industry with maximum vertical!
Powder Renegade boasts some of the finest and most naturally gladed tree skiing that the legendary Monashee Mountain range has to offer. The Monashees are known for some of the deepest and softest powder runs in the world. With an average snowfall of 15 meters per year, this amount of powder is sure to please.



ARRIVE IN STYLE
Getting Here
Whether you prefer to helicopter* in, or drive to our staging area and snowcat up, we can customize your transportation based on what fits best for your group. (weather and group size permitting).
*helicopter transport is NOT included in package pricing

Arrival – Transfer Day In
- Helicopter transfer in from YLW
- Departure from YLW will be between 9am-1pm depending on weather conditions.
- We recommend being at the airport by 8:30am with your belongings organized and ready to be loaded.
- Private ground shuttle in from YLW to staging area
- Departure from YLW (or other selected location in the Kelowna area during booking) will be no later than 10am. Be in shuttle pick up location with belongings organized and ready to be loaded.
- You will arrive at the staging area between 1pm-2pm where you will exit the shuttle and be loaded into our snowcat to go up to the lodge.
- Driving to staging area (see directions below)
- ENSURE YOU HAVE A 4X4 VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH WINTER TIRES. The roads can be hazardous, particularly if you are not familiar or comfortable driving in variable winter mountain driving conditions.
- Ensure you leave yourself adequate time to arrive at the staging area.
- Arrive at the staging area no later than 1pm.
- You will then be loaded into our snowcat and taken up to the lodge
Expected time of arrival to the lodge is around 3-4pm depending on method of transportation and weather conditions.
Departure – Transfer Day Out
The morning of your transfer day out, please have your bags packed and ready for loading by 8am.
- Helicopter transfer to YLW
- Departure from the lodge is between 9am-1pm depending on weather conditions.
- Arrival to YLW will be between 9:30am-2pm.
- Snowcat transfer to staging
- Departure from the lodge is no later than 11am.You will arrive to the staging area by 1pm and either depart in the shuttle to Kelowna, or in your vehicle.
- If you take the shuttle or drive to Kelowna, you can expect to be back around 4pm.



Driving Directions
If you prefer to drive to our staging area, you should have a 4×4 vehicle equipped with winter tires. Once at the staging area, we will bring you up to our lodge in our snowcat. The roads can be hazardous, particularly if you are not familiar or comfortable driving in variable winter mountain driving conditions.
Take Hwy 33 to Westbridge. Turn left on to the Christian Valley Road. Drive 51kms to the Grano Creek Forest Service Road.
Take Hwy 1 to Hope. Merge onto Hope Princeton Hwy 3, remain on this highway until Rock Creek. Turn left onto hwy 33. Cross the bridge in Westbridge and stay right onto the Christian Valley Road. Drive 51kms to the Grano Creek FSR.
Head north on Hwy 395 to the Canadian border. After crossing the border, remain on Hwy 395 until a junction to Hwy 3. Take a left onto Hwy 3 and drive to Rock Creek. Take a right onto Hwy 33, cross the bridge in Westbridge and stay right onto the Christian Valley Road. Drive 51kms to the Grano Creek FSR.


DON’T FORGET
What to Bring
Bring all your own outerwear including goggles, helmet and winter walking boots and ski clothes that are suitable for all conditions and temperatures. You may want to bring casual clothes and slippers/shoes for the lodge.
Bring your ski/snowboard boots – we recommend that you take them on the airplane with you as carry-on luggage. Also bring your powder skis/boards if you own them, otherwise you can rent ours. We provide ski poles with fat baskets for guests who rent skis. Any medications you take or may need. Bring your passport if crossing the border.

Local Information
Welcome to the Okanagan Valley, the wine capital of Canada. It’s located on the eastern shore of Okanagan Lake, surrounded by provincial parks, pine forest, vineyards, orchards and mountains. Big White Ski Resort is a 45-min drive from Kelowna. It’s visible from our tenure, and our tenure is visible from Big White!
