Family Owned and Operated
The Penney’s Powder Dream.
It all began in 2015 in the magical mountain town of Revelstoke, BC. Kerry and Cassandra Penney had a vision to pioneer a backcountry cat skiing lodge as their family business. It developed into their undeniable, parallel passion, feeling somehow connected to this concept before they truly understood it. They put everything on the line and after a decade of success and setbacks, they are opening the doors to Powder Renegade. They cannot wait to share their passion and host guests from all over the world.

RISK AWARENESS
Safety First
Snowcat skiing, snowboarding and other activities in wilderness areas involve the risk of injury.
Our snow safety program is centered on understanding the most important factor in risk avoidance is planning, preparation and practicing. Our comprehensive snow safety program is constantly evaluating snowpack, avalanche safety and choosing the best terrain for the guests to ensure the safest and greatest experience possible. Prior to processing payment for bookings, all guests will be required to read, understand and agree to the terms of our Wilderness Activities Release Agreement.
