Booking Policy

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

We require a 25% deposit to secure your seat, 25% on May 1 with the remaining 50% due on October 1. Guests who make a booking after May 1 are required to pay a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Guests who make a booking after October 1 are required to pay a 100% payment at the time of booking.

If payments are not received by May 1 and/or October 1 as per the booking policy, Powder Renegade reserves the right to cancel the booking without notice and re-sell the space. Any previous deposits will be forfeited and not refunded. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If we receive a cancellation 120 days prior to your arrival, you will get a full refund minus your 25% booking fee per seat cancelled IF we are able to resell your spot. If we are unable to resell your spot, you will not receive any refund. Cancellations within 120 days of your trip date are 100% non-refundable. This includes trips cancelled due to any issues you encounter crossing the border. Please also note that most trip cancellation insurance policies do not cover this type of situation.

Guests who cancel have the option of finding a replacement to fill their seat and receive a refund. There will be a $200 administration fee deducted from each seat refunded. Note: the replacement guest must be the same skill level to avoid interruptions for the balance of the group in the tour.

No refunds will be provided for a trip cancellation made by either Powder Renegade or a guest for any of the following circumstances: weather and/or snow conditions, family or workplace obligations/emergencies, changes in permits, policies, regulations or laws of any government, injuries or any personal or public health-related issues, difficulty with border crossings, acts of God, or states of emergency. Powder Renegade reserves the right to offer a partial or full, refund or credit, at its own discretion, for all cancellations NOT covered under this policy.

Powder Renegade will not make exceptions for any reason and will not provide refunds or credits due to late arrivals or early departures. Powder Renegade is not responsible for costs incurred by guests for late arrivals, early departures or any other circumstances that result in delay or inability to make the holiday.

We may, at any time, and at our sole discretion, modify these Terms and Conditions, including our Cancellation Policy, Booking Policy, and Refund Policy, with or without notice to you. Any such modification will be effective immediately upon public posting. It is your responsibility to review the Terms and Conditions for updates or changes. Your use of our services following any such modification constitutes your acceptance of these modified Terms.

There are no exceptions to our policies, so we strongly suggest that all guests purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Re-Booking Policy

Current guests will have the option to reserve the equivalent timeslot the following year, upon being invited to do so by Powder Renegade. The option will expire 14 days after the end of the trip, at which point the guest will lose priority for the future requested slot. A 25% deposit will be required to re-book. Re-booking guests are subject to the payment schedule and terms as described above. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Circumstances for Guest Dismissal from Premises

Harassment (including sexual, physical or any inappropriate conduct or comments) will not be tolerated. Guests, staff or third parties that violate this policy at the discretion of Powder Renegade management may be subject to actions, including being asked to leave our premises, being permanently or temporarily banned from premises, and/or being reported to the RCMP.

Under no circumstances will Powder Renegade be responsible for the guests, staff or third parties’ inconvenience or travel expenses or for providing a refund as the result of the application of this policy.

Trip Cancellation & Interruption Insurance

We understand that occasionally events occur that prevent you from joining us on your ski vacation. Please pay special attention to our Cancellation and Refunds Terms above. To avoid any financial hardship that an unexpected cancellation and interruption could cause, we strongly recommend purchasing Trip Cancellation/Interruption insurance to protect your trip investment.

A trip cancellation and interruption insurance policy insures against unexpected cancellations prior to your departure and disruptions during your trip that may cause you unexpected travel expenses or the loss of all or a portion of your cat ski trip (i.e. illness, injury, death of a family member, delayed flights, missed shuttles, cancellation by tour operator, etc.).

We highly recommend you check your personal policies and coverage. Our recommended provider is Lifestyle Insurance; they are a member of HeliCat Canada and have experience providing insurance for cat skiing adventures. They can provide you with the exact coverage you need. Please spend a few moments to review and purchase travel cancellation insurance.
